December 12 2009: 25 Years of
FBVI-FAIB
Selected
activities
- 20
years of CEPIS. On 20/11/09 CEPIS is celebrating its 20th
birthday, with an event on "IT-Professionalism in EU-context".
For this reason, the European Commission and the European Economic and
Social Committee are holding a European e-Skills conference 2009 on
fostering ICT professionalism.
- e-Skills
for the 21st century. The European Commission
adopted on 7 September 2007 a Communication on "e-Skills for the 21st
Century: Fostering Competitiveness, Growth and Jobs", presenting a long
term e-skills agenda and including five major action lines at EU level.
The communication on e-Skills can be downloaded here.

signs the memorandum of agreement on digital literacy.
pagina.
- The governments of Netherlands and Belgium are
planning to work together to stimulate ICT skills, following a
meeting between their ministers.
